This manager sells expired food , food been sitting out so long in the deli it looks like it will give you food poisoning. This owner need to go to grande prairie and check out proper Safeway stores . Disgusting

Purchased boneless skinless Chicken breasts in there fresh meat department. Not happy about it at all. My daughter choked on a chicken bone that was a third of an inch long and scraped the back of her throat with it. Ended up having to get throat spray for her as it really irritates her. I talked to Safeway manager and they said they were going to look into it and get back to me.. it's been over a week since I've talked to them and haven't heard anything since. Not very happy.
I recommend looking out for their chicken breasts... not sure if they really took this seriously. Definitely doesn't feel like it.
Clean store, well stocked, decent prices. Would shop here again if I’m in town. Only had to stop for a few things on a road trip but they had what I was looking for. Also filled up on gas here. Recommend to others.
Ordered a cake a few days before the occasion. Got the cake home and it was very dry and stale. $30 for a cake that was terrible. Coop next time, lesson learned.
Getting expensive but still can get some good deals but wow safeway was expensive before and it’s getting worse
